X-Men first class inspired me to make this board months ago when there were dozens of 'First Class' themed websites popping up on the interwebs so I thought I'd mix it up and make it 'Final Class'. As you can tell I really ran with the concept and here we are .
Anyway beyond my gratefulness for the inspiration for the RP I saw the film last week and I really enjoyed it. Sure they ruined Emma Frost and Continuity is bad but it took them three films to get Kitty Pryde in it properly so I'm hoping the next film will figure something out. Also they messed up continuity but really who cares, continuity is meant to be broken.
Overall I'f give it a solid 8 out of 10, great action, good actors (excluding Emma Frost) and a decent well structured plot. I'm now in search for some good Zoe Kravitz pics so I can make a cool Zoe Kravitz character because she really killed it as Angel.
What did you guys think about the bold new direction of the X Men films? Better than Wolverine? Better than X 2?
No matter what you think hopefully you can agree it's time for a Havok dance party!

I just watched the movie my self and I was really giddy and excited to see this one scene. what he said made the theater bust out laughing. I really enjoyed that scene. I saw the cigar and I was like 'oh hell ya.' and then he said go f*** yourself and I was like awesome. Havok was pretty cute too I could see him as a possible love interest for Becca. Anyway, I did enjoy the movie as well. Eric and Charles were really cute and great too. just a btw there.

I liked the movie. One question though, is this supposed to be an alternate story line because the end of it didn't link up with Wolverine at all which was weird.

I absolutely loved it!
It didn't follow comic nor movie continuity, granted. But I didn't go into the theatre expecting it to. Movies are a always more inspired reinterpretations of the same themes as the comics than anything; I'm fine so long as they respect the core of most charries. And I already knew it had been written as a reboot, rather than a prequel, as far as movieverse goes; I rather liked how they did a few subtle fanservice shoutouts to the X-Men trilogy anyway though, I have to say. I was actually pretty pleased with Emma too, which it doesn't seem like most people were; it felt a lot like how she was portrayed in her early comic appearances, which is honestly when I most enjoyed her character.
Overall though, it was just a really well-scripted movie. I loved how they really took the time to really weave it into being a period film too, despite the scifi element. Had me laughing, cheering, and even tearing up. 10/10.
PS: Bar scene cameo was AWESOME hahah
